Things I Saw on my Way to Work

Every day, I drive 40 minutes out of the city to get to work. When I lived in Holliston, I worked in Boston. Now that I live in Boston, I work in Millis (1 town over from Holliston). I guess I really just like to sit in traffic and/or ride the wonder that is the MBTA (http://howfuckedisthet.com/).

The good thing about commuting every day is that it allows me the opportunity to hone my aggressive driving skills and to really appreciate what being from Massachusetts is all about. People in this state all REALLY have to get somewhere right away. Always. Where you are is never where you are supposed to be. At a red light for example, you are not supposed to be where you are stopped, you are supposed to be where the car in front of you is. Is he moving forward a couple inches? Good. Now I'm going to move forward a couple inches. One step closer to success.

On this particular morning, I saw two things that particularly caught my attention. I'll start with the more boring of the two:

1- A man proposing to his girlfriend at the Reservoir by my apartment at 8:30 in the morning. It was very romantic. Good job buddy.

and the much more interesting of the two things:

2- A Pontiac Aztek (with a "K" biatch!)

For those of you who are not familiar with this powerhouse of a vehicle, the Pontiac Aztek was an SUV produced by Pontiac from 2001 to 2005. It has a notorious reputation for looking like a "toaster on wheels," and was a target of ridicule in the auto industry for most of its short life span.

Bye Bye Mortgage Payments!

Yes, the car had a tent accessory and yes, that is awesome.

Another thing I also noticed is the cars striking resemblance to a popular car seen in excess at your local Whole Foods:
Just Sayin
Somebody quick, make a Prius tent.
